"Mutilation Mile is, by far, Atkins' finest moment. He has come closer to the vibe of an Alejandro Jodorowsky film than anyone else probably ever will. This is a breakout piece."

~ David C. Hayes (Producer - Blood Moon Rising, The Prometheus Project)

"Atkins is back, with a new exploitation opus, and this time around he brings his filmmaking ‘A’ game.... Atkins has created one of the most intense, entertaining underground exploitation films in years." (Click HERE for full review)

"Ron Atkins continues to push the envelope with his most unconscionable film to date. Mutilation Mile is unforgettable."

~ -Scott Gabbey, UItra Violent

"MUTILATION MILE is surely the most violent movie I've seen in years. Tortures, murders, rape and sadism are shown in shocking details, whilst Ron Atkins depicts a sordid bunch of characters, both dropouts and killers that are so extreme and were hard to believe if TV and newspapers weren't there to remind us that such people and such horrors do exist. The pace is quick, the escalation of violence runs fast, the actors scream all the time (maybe a little bit too much), but undoubtedly the crazy, lunatic, cocaine addicted, over the top (and at times even funny) Jimmy, played by Daniel McCabe ie a character that sticks to your mind and maybe will come back in your nightmares.

As a director, Ron Atkins in "Mutilation Mile" is a curious and interesting mix of old and new. A horror veteran like myself can surely track down a lot of quotes from horror and thriller classics. Something in the crazy Daniel McCabe character reminded me of David Hess in "House At The Edge Of the Park", whilst the cold brutality of some scenes made me think of Tarantino's classics. But he is also new for a sort of aloof and cool style in telling the story. Being a theatre person I would say a sort of "Brechtian" quality. He doesn't judge his characters he simply shows the monstrous behavior with a detached eye and an implacable rhythm. His direction of actors is very good and gives them space and time to depict their characters."

~ Actor Giovanni Lombardo Radice (aka. John Morghen) - (The Gates of Hell, House on the Edge of the Park, Make Them Die Slowly, The Omen 666)

"Ron Atkins’ MUTILATION MILE is one nasty M.F. Tweakers ride through a surreal nightmare counter-universe of sleaze. What’s even better, the movie is polished, shot and edited with style, and the lead actors are so blasting out of their skulls with über-manic energy, they make Rob Zombie's characters seem like somnambulists. I watched MUTILATION MILE on Christmas day and although I needed to bathe afterwards, watching this movie was my very best holiday present. Thank you Ron."

~ Graeme Whifler (Director of Deadly End)

"Three and 1/2 stars! Every second of this movie that goes by is brutal... Definitely not for everyone, especially those who look forward to seeing the next “Saw” turd squeezed out every October."

"Ron Atkins’ Mutilation Mile, to put it mildly, is a steel-toed head on Exploitation kick in the balls..." (click HERE for full review)
